Woodland Avenue, Penryn Bathroom Installation

by | Bathrooms

A recent bathroom installation.

This bathroom involved the full removal of existing sanitary ware, tiles, plaster board and associated materials. Due to the existing dot and dab plaster board adhesive becoming weakened over time, this was removed to expose the bare block behind. I chased the floor to accommodate new positioning of the shower, sink and toilet. The window wall was studded off to square up the bathroom and to allow the shower tray to fit perfectly.

I over-boarded the ceiling using plane white splash panelling to protect from damp and mould, then fitted a new LED light. After priming the walls I fitted Weathered Stone Matte splash panelling to every wall, including the window reveal. I fitted luxury vinyl flooring and the new eco bathroom furniture arrangement with a hidden cistern and a full cast resin worktop with an incorporated sink. Finally I installed a new chrome towel rail using corner valves to minimise pipework on show.
