Falmouth bathroom install.

by | Bathrooms

This job involved a full rip out of the original bathroom: removing the tiles back to bare walls; taking the floor up to run all of the waste pipes into the floor and removal of all old bathroom appliances.

I removed the vent pipe going up through the bathroom and out of the roof and installed an air admittance valve for aesthetic reasons. All of the waste, hot and cold pipework was removed and then piped through the floor so that the boxing wasn’t needed like the existing bathroom had.

Splash panelling was fitted to the perimeter of the bathroom and the reveals around the window.

A new shower tray was fitted replacing the old bath, and a new toilet and sink unit fitted. Malmo luxury vinyl flooring was then laid and completely sealed so there is no need to worry about splashing water around. The old radiator was replaced with a new chrome towel rail.
